TiO2 does two jobs in PVC: it is a white pigment and a UV stabilizer. For outdoor products such as roofing and profiles, it helps resist discoloration from sunlight.
We match the TiO2 grade and dosage to your color target, outdoor requirements and the fillers in your formulation. For a brighter white, TiO2 can be combined with optical brightener or replaced by Snowbrite DB.

Why does TiO2 matter for roofing and outdoor products?
Besides opacity and whiteness, TiO2 absorbs UV light, which helps resist yellowing and chalking in sun-exposed products such as roofing, gutters and profiles.
Can TiO2 be combined with optical brightener?
Yes. TiO2 with optical brightener and ultramarine blue gives a brighter white. Snowbrite DB already contains all three in one material.
