Stannova: Tin stabilizer (methyltin)

Methyltin mercaptide: efficient at low dosage, with excellent early color.
Stannova is a liquid methyltin mercaptide with high efficiency, so the dosage is low. Early color and color hold are excellent, and the liquid form helps accurate dosing. For clear rigid film, ST-810 gives high clarity.
Stannova contains no lubricant, so it needs a separate lubricant package. Our team can put together a matching package, including OX 316a.

Contains no lubricant. Do not mix with lead stabilizers or lead-based pigments (sulfur staining). For outdoor products, make sure there is enough TiO2 and UV protection.

Frequently asked questions
Why does Stannova need a separate lubricant?
Stannova is a pure tin stabilizer with no lubricant, so it is used with a lubricant package such as calcium stearate, paraffin wax and OPE wax. We can help put together a matching package.
Is Stannova suitable for outdoor products?
Yes, with one caveat: tin mercaptides have limited UV resistance, so roofing and gutters made with Stannova ST-210 need enough TiO2 and UV protection.
