FLEXIBLE FILM
Raw Materials for Flexible PVC Film
Soft film that stays clear, flexible and color-stable through processing.
Common problems
- Film yellows or shows specks during processing
- Fish eyes and gels on the film surface
- Plate-out on rolls or the die
- Lead-free film required by certain markets
Typical formulation
Flexible PVC film uses high-porosity K65 resin, plasticizer and a liquid CaZn stabilizer that protects color and clarity during calendering or extrusion. Low fish-eye resin helps keep the film surface smooth.
