Endura: ACR, CPE and MBS impact modifiers
Three impact modifier types for rigid PVC: ACR for outdoor use, CPE for pipe and conduit, MBS for clear film.

Impact strength matched to the product: outdoor, filled or clear.
Each type has its own strengths. ACR (AC-210) gives good weather resistance and color retention for roofing and ceiling panels. CPE (CP-110) is cost-effective, takes filler well and also helps processing, which suits pipe, conduit and gutters. MBS (MB-810) keeps clarity in clear rigid film and sheet, but is not recommended for outdoor use.
Impact strength rises along an S-curve with dosage: past the ductile point, more modifier adds little. That is why we always set the optimum dosage through trials. When switching impact modifier type, the lubricant package needs adjusting as well.

Frequently asked questions
Which Endura grade is for roofing and ceiling panels?
Endura AC-210 (ACR), because of its good weather resistance and color retention outdoors. For pipe, conduit and gutters, Endura CP-110 (CPE) is usually more cost-effective.
Can Endura MB-810 be used outdoors?
It is not recommended. MBS is designed for clear indoor products such as rigid film and clear packaging. For outdoor use, choose Endura AC-210.
